All activities are optional opportunities to prepare you individually and our team for the fall


    Always subject to change via Remind Text Blast May 23 (M), May 25 (W), May 26 (Th) – Kids Camp and Spring Ball Practice (HOME)
  • Kids Camp 4-5:30
  • Practice 5:30-7:00 – Full team / All Position Groups
  • Required participation if you are planning on going to 7 on 7 or Lineman Challenges

    May 31 (Tuesday) – Skyview 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge (HOME)
  • 4:30 pm – 6:45 pm Tuesday and Thursday Evenings all Summer (Beginning on June 2) – Team Workouts
  • Tentative plan for team lifts:
  • 7:30-8:15 pm: Freshman Weight room
  • 8:00-9:00 pm: Skills: Feed the Cats and Field Work
  • 8:15-9:00 pm: Linemen Weight room
  • 9:15-10:00 pm: Skills Weight room
  • The weight room will also be open from 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM Monday-Friday throughout the summer

    Wednesday evenings all Summer (Beginning on June 1) – Team Field Work
  • 8-9:30 pm: Team Activity
  • May be a game on the field, may be conditioning, may be speed work, may be a service project, may be an activity elsewhere in the Valley

    June 8 (Wednesday) – West Side 7 on 7 and Preston Lineman Challenge
  • Wrestlers are in Salina this week – if you are a wrestler that is your priority
  • Leave the HS at 1 pm and get home around 10 pm
  • We hope to have a linemen challenge in Preston the same evening June 18 (Saturday) – Madison 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge
  • We will leave the HS at noon and be home around 10 pm
  • Madison 7 v 7 (no linemen)
  • We hope to have a linemen challenge that same day also in Madison June (not sure on dates) – Dyers Woad Picking Fundraiser/Service Project
  • Service Project picking Dyers Woad
  • This is a great service and a cool fundraiser opportunity for our team
  • Likely a two day activity with half the team going one day and the other half going on the other day July 16 (Saturday) – Soda Springs 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge
  • Leave HS around 7 am and get home around 6 pm
  • We hope to have a linemen challenge that same day also in Soda July 20 (Wednesday) – Rock Springs 7 on 7 – No Linemen (HOME)
  • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Likely a varsity only event

    July 25-29 (Monday-Friday) – Football Camp (HOME)
  • Check in at 8 am on Monday morning – Check out on Friday evening after the scrimmage
  • This is the most important week of the year for our program as we prepare for the season

    After Camp:
  • The weight room will be open the first week of August (regular times T, W, Th)
  • There will no workouts that second week of August (during the fair). We want guys to get away and charge their batteries for the long grind ahead.
  • The first day of mandatory practice is August 15.
  • We will have a morning and evening practices that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • We will have only a morning practice on Friday

Please note, all of these are optional. You can play football in the fall without paying for any of the below


    listed items/events $125 Home Jersey with name personalized on the back
  • Right now, this option is only available to Juniors and Seniors who are interested
  • Most juniors and seniors already have one from last year and do not need
  • This is not required, we have home jerseys to check out, they just will not have the athlete’s last name on the back

    $30 Girdle
  • Returning players should already have one (unless they have outgrown theirs)
  • We do have some in the shed that can be checked out for those who don’t buy one
  • You can buy your own at a sporting goods store or online, if you prefer $70 Travel Bag
  • Most returning players should already have one from last year
  • These are a large, personalized embroidered Under Armour bag
  • This is not required – we do have some old ones you can check out in the shed

    $50 Summer Camp $25 7 on 7
  • This is only for those who participate in 7 on 7 activities
  • This is a one time fee – you owe $25 if you can go to one, two, three, or five. $25 covers the summer.

We will have an online order for optional hoodies, sweats, backpacks that I will send out this summer. Please make your payments to the SVHS office before the end of the week if possible. Please get your physicals turned into the SVHS office before the end of the week if possible.
